What is Virtual Hosting?
Virtual Hosting
allows us to host more than one domain on the same physical
server. So rather then having you purchase your own dedicated
server, you should take advantage of Virtual Hosting. This saves
you time and money. When someone visits your web site, they'll
see http://www.yourdomain.com in the address bar giving them
the appearance that you are on a dedicated server.
Why do I need a Web provider?
A Web page can be stored on virtually any computer connected to the Internet...
But ProHosting knows how to do it right!
We provide a stable, feature rich environment which allows you to create a feature
rich web site without having to worry about all the technical stuff. This allows
you to spend your time building your Web site........
How long does it take to setup a new account?
The
quickest way to get an account setup with ProHosting is to pay via credit card.
If our order form is filled out using a credit card before 5:00 PM MST, your account
will be setup that same day. When paying via check, your account will be setup
once payment is received.
Once your account is activated, you will be sent an email containing your username,
and instructions on how to access your account. You will also be assigned a temporary
address to use while your domain name is being registered or transferred.
Your domain name may take longer to setup or transfer to ProHosting. For more

Will ProHosting design my Web site for me?
While
ProHosting doesn't directly offer Web design, we provide service to many excellent
Web design professionals.
At any time, we can provide you with a list
of references. This gives you the opportunity to find a Web designer that
fits your needs.
Can I use my account for commercial purposes?
Yes, you can use your account for commercial or any other
purposes as long as its not in violation of ProHosting's Acceptable
Use Policy. The World Wide Web has become one of the most efficient and
cost-effective means of making information and products available to users
of the Internet community.
Can I resell space within my own account?
Under
plans A and B, you can re-sell space for other web sites, however, you will
be responsible for its content and data transfer. You will not be able to acquire
multiple passwords for FTP access.
You cannot resell space under plan C.
Does ProHosting accept international orders?
Yes.
While ProHosting can handle the hosting and domain registration for .com, .net,
and .org domain names, we can also host domains with different extensions. If
your domain name isn't .com, .net, or .org, you will most likely be required to
handle the domain registration.
Can I use multiple domain names with my ProHosting account?

Can I upgrade my plan at a later date?
Of
course. Just Log into your NetAdmin account control panel and go to the Account Upgrades section.
How do I transfer files to my Web site?
You have several options to choose from when publishing
your web site to ProHosting's servers.
FTP or File Transfer Protocol is widely used to transfer files manually, but
if you're just getting started, you may want to invest in a program like Macromedia®
Dreamweaver®. With Dreamweaver® and comparable programs, you can design
your Web pages and publish your site to our server with one easy to use program.
You can download FTP clients from http://www.tucows.com
or many other sites on the net.

Will I be able to update my web pages whenever I need to?
Yes, you can connect using an FTP program(for instance, CuteFTP
or WS-FTP), the Filemanager,
Dreamweaver®, GoLive®, or any one of the hundreds of other Web tools to update your web
site at any time day or night.
How do I receive technical support from ProHosting?
ProHosting offers several methods for your to receive help with your internet
related questions. Our support section, which can be found at http://www.prohosting.c/web-hosting-support/index.htm
is one method. You can also visit our company contact page for information on
getting in touch with us via email or phone. This page can be found at https://www.prohosting.com/contact.htm.
ProHosting also provides a email based support mailing list. Many of our Web hosting
